I believe everyone has multiple personalities and identities. They may be subtle differences or well defined. Such as the way we behave in our private lives, in our homes or when we're alone with our thoughts versus the lives we live in social and public situations. We often adapt our identities to suit the situations we're in.
Even in photographic portraits, the sitter will often have a certain idea of how they may look in front of the camera, and then on the opposite end the photographer will have their own idea of what they'd like to capture or portray about the sitter.
PSEUDO is based around this concept. Mixing the sitter's self identity with the identity I impose onto them. The project was shot entirely on a medium format analog camera with black and white film to slow down the the process in order to let these identities evolve.
